D&D 5E Enhancing "Storm King's Thunder"

I have never run a published adventure(or one I wrote myself) that I did not have to make changes to in order for it to work for the particular party.

One group seems to be really into finding Artus Cimber so I'm veering that way.

NB: as written (page 156), "Artus Cimber and the Ring of Winter have roles to play in another adventure." Specifically, they mean he will appear in a yet-to-be-confirmed-or-even-publicly-announced adventure that WotC are working on, so if that's of a concern to you and/or your players, take note - the "official" whereabouts of Artus Cimber may not be revealed for an unknown number of months...

(personally, I find this kind of "future tie in" to be quite annoying, as there is potential for your players to become quite interested in following that thread but as written it's a dead end for Storm King's Thunder).

Actually, they probably won't be appearing in a future written adventure, as the "other adventure" that seems to be referred to here is their tie-in appearance in the Neverwinter computer game.

So, thanks for stopping in with your opinion, but you don't need to stay and argue it. I, at least, would rather not have the thread cluttered with the negativity.

Editted to add: If you have any suggestions to improve what you see as flaws, by all means please share them. My point is that simply saying it's a horrible adventure that no one should play is not helpful and adds nothing productive to the conversation. Thanks.

Holy hell, I said something negative about something you like, OMG! CALL THE WAMBULANCE!

Sorry for personally injuring you with my negativity. Won't happen again. Self-righteousness like yours deserves to be put on ignore.

Good lord. People disagreed with you, and one person suggested that you either post in the same tone as the rest of the thread or find a different one to post in, and you interpret that as you 'not being allowed to have an opinion'? It's not about your opinion being disallowed, its about people being free to disagree with it, and you then acting petulant and insulting ("WAMBULANCE") in response.

Some self-awareness here might help.
