D&D 5E Xanathar's Guide to Everything -- new mechanical expansion/UA book! -- November 10 with a limited-edition cover by Hydro74

Don't give up hope just yet. The UA Paladin subclasses were all VERY unpopular. It's possible for that class that WOTC just ditched them all and started over.

They said all the subclasses come from the UA articles, but I can see the fluff of some like the Paladin of Treachery getting a major fluff revamp, so it's hard to say.

Is there a handy list of all the UA subclasses that have been posted to date?

The only way I can find them is by reading each individual article on the WotC website.

Yes, I am that lazy. :)

I know. I think I might reverse my position of hating the Realms and become a fan just to spite all the anti-Realm whining. I mean, serious, people!

I think I actually have shifted from being indifferent about the Realms to being happy that they made it the default setting.

I mean, I really like how they've presented the Realms in 5e so far, presenting different regions as both a sandbox and an adventure. Those were the products I liked best as a 3e DM, but I wasn't getting them from WotC. It was Necromancer and their kin providing them with books like The Lost City of Barrakus.

I can run OotA and SKT and all the rest in tbe Realms without needing any other product, and still be playing in a Realms that is indeed the Realms yet is a Realms wholly unique to my table. It's perfect.

I wonder if there will be a similar section too the monster ecolgies in Volo's. What would Xanathar go on about?
Considering Beholders are insane, he might have crazy "dreams" about Eberron, Planescape, and Dragonlance. That would be a good way to sneak in mechanics for other settings. (After all, if Volo can write about Neogi...)
