D&D 5E New Character Sheets are out, anyone seen what they look like?

Am I just dense but to me they look identical to the free ones.

With the exception of the "basic" one, they pretty much are identical. Which is why it's so disappointing to me. I was really hoping they put some effort into this product instead of simply printing off some old sheets, wrapping 'em up in extra flashy cardstock, and selling for a massive markup.

There should be laws against this kind of laziness.

I don't even write down special abilities unless they involve a choice--"Second Wind" is already implied by "Fighter 1." For me, that would be:

Merdock; middle-aged widower, three kids; sloppy but likable; ex-soldier turned bodyguard; wants 10,000 gp to retire on
LG Human Fighter 1 [Defense style] [Heavy Armor Master]
S 16 D 10 C 16 I 10 W 10 C 14 HP 13 AC 19 (chain mail, shield) XP 0
Long sword +5/d8+3

As a counterpoint, if they redesigned the sheets, but only made the redesigned sheets available as a physical product (and thus required multiple purchases or photocopying for multiple PCs or the entire group) would that be preferable?
I think far more people would complain.

I really wish WotC would sell the 5e Basic rules as a printed product for purchase.

The Basic Rules, like character sheets, are available free on their website. But the former is more unwieldy to print (and bind) for use than the latter.

I would like a DMs toolbox. A combat tracking board (like Pathfinders) a character tracking sheet showing the relevant stats that the DM needs reference to (AC, passive scores, conditions etc), a major NPC sheet, and a useful DMs screen with some blank space for campaign specific notes. etc etc. I dunno, just a nice bundle of useful fun stuff.

Here is what you need to do step 1) befriend a guy that owns a printing company
Step 2)Help him move house
Step 3) ask him really nicely and he will print you a custom GM screen with various pictures of your group in a fancy sleeve to boot!

It does not have the character creation and leveling rules.
