I've got some steel discs about the size of quarters and a Dremel I can use to put markings on them. Any suggestions on what to put on the coins?

An intricately-drawn treasure map, etched across all of the coins combined. Once the party earn enough money, they'll be able to assemble it into a clue that will lead them to something even more valuable.

This is your opportunity to draw a side view of your own head on the coins and give yourself an established alter ego in the game world - whether king, emperor, or what have you.

If you don't want to use the king's face, how about...
- his coat of arms or other heraldic symbol. "This is me"
- an animal associated with rulership or might: lion, eagle
- stylized version of above: two-headed eagle holding a bundle of arrows in both talons
- oak leaf or other plant, that symbolizes strength and endurance
- cheesy: dollar $, euro E or yen Y
- ancient coinage: has a dragon's face in 3/4 profile (if you are very talented with that Dremel)
- ancient coinage 2: a few words / symbols in an extinct language: hieroglyphics, cuneiform
- sketchy representation of bars of gold; more bars = more valuable coin
- somebody else's face (pick one):
- (1) the queen
- (2) the real power behind the figurehead who sits on the throne
- (3) loyal (and recently-deceased) knight / champion
- (4) toddler-aged Crown Prince
- (5) successful General
- representation of a god. Might be in a completely different style from 'traditional' holy artwork
- famous Chancellor of the Exchequer who completed some significant task (pick one):
- (1) compiling the Domesday Book
- (2) founding the Royal Bank of -Nation-
- (3) removing a hyper-inflated / debased currency from circulation and replacing it with coins "worth their weight in gold" that people willingly accepted at face value
- (4) tax reforms
- (5) drafted and oversaw implementation of economic development plan that led to general prosperity
- Significant patriotic slogans or symbols: Liberty quarter, sheaf-of-wheat penny, knight on sixpence
- grooves so you can make the PP into pieces of eight
- image of a royal palace or castle
- Big Ben or other significant architecture with no governmental purpose but a source of civic pride
- St George fighting the Dragon, or similar motif
- Romeo and Juliet, or characters from other famous stories / literature

Hey, if you have the skills...why not a profile of EGG? Or his glasses & goatee?
