Quick AC question

If a feature says your AC is 13 plus Constitution modifier, do you still also add your Dexterity modifier??? Most things explicitly include Dex mod but this one doesn't. It is from the Stone Sorcerer if I recall correctly.

I'd say CON only, with that wording.
Compare Dragon Sorcerer.

Stone Sorcerer sounds like that AC = 13 + CON has kinda heavy armor effect.

Nope. Any AC calculation will include Dexterity if it's supposed to be present. (Barring typos or mistakes, of course.) Stone Sorcerer was intended to use Con for AC instead of Dexterity.

There is never an implicit part of the formula, if DEX isn't there you're not suposed to use it.

Thanks all. I kind of figured that was the case but wanted to make certain. A player wants to use it and when he sent me his character, he was still adding Dex to his AC and I thought maybe he shouldn't be.

yeah, when transitioning between editions we use to do that. It's something we are so used to do we do it automatically
