In game your starting HP is 10x health/con. Each time you gain a level you add your health/con score to the total. If you were playing a paladin with health 15 at first level you would have 150 HP. I do this because a character is supposed to be heroic and not die from a single blow. I also have added weapons skills which increase critical hits. If you have blade 5 (any blade between 15-30 inches) anytime you roll a natural 15 or higher it is a critical which does depending on roll 2x-5x damage plus possible special effects. So you can take being stabbed 6 or 7 times but the guy that hits you for a critical, you know that he needs to go down.

Characters also have additional attributes one of which is quickness. Unless they have rolled very badly even at first level they have 2 or 3 melee attacks per melee phase beginning at first level.

Magic is different in combat, depending upon the "level" of spell each can nova low level spells or have a few higher level ones.

While the wizards did concentrate on better mental stats over physical ones they all have over 100hp, with the elementalist who ignored social attributes being closer to 200.

The players have decided to hire sell swords, they have to choose and negotiate a price. The 10 groups they can hire are vaguely described. for example: Four individuals consisting of three men and a woman all appear barbaric. Two powerful buy nasty looking men. Their main problem will be being quiet with the dandy's entourage in tow. He has eight guys to carry him and a maid who will feed him grapes on a divan. Plus his additional support staff, cooks, masseuse, people to set up his tent and furniture. This is how he spends his wealth when not learning true names and summoning formulae.

You would be correct in thinking that the other characters hate the dandy's behaviour.

Dragon melee damage 2d12 bite 2d10 claws, natural weapons skill could result in a critical, breath hot flame 8d10 cold flame 4d10 cold flame does not damage carried items.

Ah ok. Your game is so heavily modded from baseline D&D that it's a little difficult to make a normal assumption about statistics. Sounds like you have it well in hand though! Curious to see how it turns out.
