It certainly appears in The Styles.

When I played the Styles I relocated it to Luskan, and carefully didn't mention the name of the god the symbol was associated with. I just went with "an alien god from another world".

Tharizdun does sort of have a presence in FR, he unleashed an Abyssal Plague there along with other worlds like Athas.

I always seem to drift into Tharizdun-themed games. A few have started in one direction.and ended up there.

I think they've implied an identity between Tharizdun and Ghaunadaur, particularly in Princes of the Apocalypse.
