D6 Megacorporation

Once upon a time there was a D6 Star Wars game. It died in the late 90s but they made a D6 Space, Adventure and fantasy book.

I think I am one of three people who bought the D6 boxed set.

Anyway I was thinking of a tongue in check game set in space where the megacorporations rule. Each one gets a home planet and rule a space nation.

So my basic idea is to have Facebook, Google, Steam or whatever in space. I own D6 Spaceships and can refuff Star Wars.

Tempted to put an absurdest slant on it a'la Futurama. Or double down on being serious.

Just a rough idea atm.

Great idea.
I think D6 Space works well.
Just enough system to crack on with.

Can you track down D6 Space Aliens?
A lot of those are really fun.

I don't have aliens have dead tree copies of spaceships and creatures along with a large pile of Star Wars.

Planets could be named after company products.

That's brilliant I can refluff B1 battledroids.

They can use libra as currency and be the Droid faction.

Think games like Freelancer, Alpha Centauri, Stellaris.

Disney would be a good one, planets Disneyland, World, Fantasia.

Apple and Facebook need to be in there.

Look at some of the diversified asian megacorps, like Yamaha, Kyocera, Honda Sony. Chip makers? Big Pharma? Big Energy?

Disney is a must. McDonalds...Swatch...

Don’t forget the possibility of mergers, and not just things like Time-Warner. Oddball pairings might occur, much like how the asian corporations did. Zales-Nokia. Nintendo Black & Decker. Universal CAT.

Disney has recently been on an expansion campaign hasn't it? Mouse troopers took the Marvel system some years ago, and Lion King stellar destroyers finally suppressed Fox resistance on the 20th Century planet, although Fox rebels still broadcast Trumpist evangelism from hidden holographic stations..

If I did a Disney Corp in space it would have things like Maleficent class battlecruisers and planets named after some of the movies.

Facebook would-be the Droid Civilization. The Zuckerborg thing I liked so Zuckerborg might be a self aware AI or brain in a jar thing like Futurama/Fine Cymeks.
