Power Metal is easily mistaken for parody, although it's mostly not. That isn't to say that there's not some winking tongue in cheek action going on, because there is. The idea of being self referential is a lottle different now than it was in the 80's and 90's. Spinal Tap is actually parody, or at least started of that way, but is also actually a talented band.

Yeah. I know. I wanted to rip my ears off after 2 mins then shut it off to check the calendar to make sure it wasnt 1986. That was painful to watch and listen to.

Also once the front man started singing i was a bit surprised, pleasantly, i did not expect to hear a voice so reminiscent of the judas priest lead's voice. Unexpectedly high pitched (yet still powerful) just like rob halford's voice. Also unexpected because neither of these men look like theyd have the voice they do.

I was thinking more Geoff Tate or Todd La Torre than Rob Halford.

i was more than disappointed by how NOT into the video shoot the guitarist’s and bass player seemed for most of the time.

I feel I'd be remiss to not at least mention the band Bolt Thrower in this thread. Very much more a GW related thing than a D&D thing, but I don't think there's a closer band/game connection that I can think of. Ahh, memories of my 90's FLGS days. Good times.
