D&D 5E Keith Baker: Exploring Eberron

Eberron creator Keith Baker has been busy recently! He has unveiled the cover to his new book, to be released in July on DMs Guild in PDF and Print on Demand hardcover. It will dive into parts of Eberron that have received little attention in prior books, including the undersea civilizations and the planes.

Looks like Soul Knife kind of stuff to me. But that would require... psionics to be fully in place! Hmm, here's hoping this book has some of that in it as well as an alternative to the Greater Dragonmark debacle that is "Spells of the Mark"

I'm gonna allow the UA Warforged though, as specially designed Prototype models from the start of the Last War though.

Yo I was thinking Soul Knife too, but wasn't sure how that would work if it wasn't.

There are ancient Warforged colossi in Xen'drik. Maybe the UA Warforged could be found there as ancient versions that are "powered down" in some way and just need to be revived also.

Make it an "achievement" or "unlock" for future characters/games with the same group in Eberron if you can run something like that.

That... is also totally possible. Just a re-fluff/visualization of what the 1d6 short swords look like in a dual-wield situation for a Pact of the Bladelock.

Kalashtar for sure. As for the class, that's much harder to pin down: Medium Armor for as implied by the metal pauldron and leather pants, but I don't know of any current power or ability that can summon two weapons at the same time.

Now my question is: What is that eyeball growing out of that dwarf caster's back?

Definitely a daelkyr symbiont. I don't recall any in Rising fitting that description, so it might be something from Exploring Eberron.
