One assumes they will UA two for each class, so we are due another sorcerer, bard, cleric, druid, ranger, artificer (I reckon the main motivation for doing the book now is to reprint the artificer for people who don't like Eberron). The rate of release seems to be stepped up - 2 at a time, 3 at a time, 4 at a time, suggesting the date of content lockdown is getting closer. But there is still quite a long time between content lockdown and publication. So my best guess is this book will come out in September, +/- 2 months.

We are in the window now that they did UA testing for November releases in the past, such as Xanathar's or Ravnica. September is the big storyline release window, Perkins Adventure book in September and Crawford's crunchy book in November seems most plausible.

I'm tapping out on predictions. I never would've guessed Wildemount in a million years (though in hindsight it makes perfect sense). Prior to that, my guess of Undermountain at one point was a few years off.

Maybe I should just stick to predicting what's not going to come out:

Spelljammer

Is there a projected release date for Baldur's Gate 3? Here's my (maybe crazy) theory, assuming it's releasing in the Q4 window that many big video game titles do.

The Q4 book will be Xanathar's 2: Planar Boogaloo. It will:
  • Focus on planar/otherworldly subclasses. It may not be explicitly Spelljammer or Planescape, but it will open that door at least
  • Include the survivors of the last few months' UA. There's definitely a psionic/planar bend to this stuff
  • Might include subclasses, items, features from BG3. We've heard that the developers came up with neat takes on the 5e ruleset
  • Could potentially include lots of mentions of the Far Realm and other Mindflayer-related goodness, as a way to tie in the product with BG3 further
It may even have a Psion/Mystic class. The UA cycle that finalized the Artificer kicked off Q1 and officially released Q4. So if we see a full Psion UA in the coming months, it's a major indicator that this (silly) theory is on track.

TL;DR BG3 may release Q4, and will definitely have some planar and psionic stuff, as evidenced by the trailer. Based on the recent UAs, a Q4 Xanathar's 2 could also have some planar and psionic stuff. Corporate synergy, yo!

Let's see … for the "Adventure Path," what classic adventure haven't they recycled yet?
My guess is an Expedition to the Barrier Peaks/Spelljammer crossover.
