Kickstarter This is what a 1-week Kickstarter campaign pattern looks like

Interested in the Kickstarter pattern a 1-week campaign has? It's not the same U-shape as a monthly one -- you get the strong start, and a slight rise at the end, but not the same shape as a longer campaign. A month-long KS typically has an end rise in the last few days similar to the peak at the beginning, creating that classic U-shape. This was an interesting experiment!

Interesting. I've never tried a 1-week campaign, so this is new to me.

I assume you were successful, and the campaign funded? In any event, did you get raise as much money and get as many backers as you expected?

Yes to all questions.

Glad to hear it.

My current campaign got off to a flying start, thanks in large part to previous backers who had been notified in advance. Kickstarter's metrics tell me that a lot of people put it on their watch/remind me lists. But I suspect that they've decided to hold off just because they can, with there being over 3 weeks left to make up their minds. A 1-week campaign, by comparison, all but forces them to make up their minds now.
