D&D General Dungeons & Dragons Gets a My Little Pony Crossover

In Demand Toys, a store in Norwich, Norfolk, posted a photo to its Facebook group over the weekend showing a Dungeons & Dragons themed My Little Pony set.

It's part of a line called the "Cutie Marks" which also has versions for other Hasbro brands (Transformers, Power Rangers, etc).

The box contains five pony models, each of which is based on a D&D class (the druid also has a "blink bunny" familiar). There's also a custom d20 and a DM screen. The five classes are barbarian, bard, druid, rogue; plus either a wizard or a cleric.

Of course, there's already a My Little Pony RPG, and there have been other unofficial crossovers like Ponyfinder for Pathfinder.

No release date has been posted, but the store said they would be available for pre-order soon.

The Starter Set is the starteriest startest set that I've ever seen for an RPG. The enclosed adventure is essentially a read-aloud choose-your-own-adventure with a few instances where your characters (which are pregens with their own character sheets) roll some dice. As a note, the pregen characters are supposed to be level 0, but have level 1 statistics.
I would be shocked if anyone needed something simpler than the core book to get started, honestly.

While I'll always suggest Fate Accelerated as the best option for a 'D&D Junior"-type game: if your kid/sibling is into MLP (and you're not willing to homebrew a Fate setting), then it is NOT a bad choice, either. I STILL find it weird that they outsourced that one.

A dragon with an unicorn would be a ki-rin.

A centaur with a human would be a centaur.

A centaur with a horse head still would be centaur(kin) but a different subrace, like the manotaur or pegataur.

But centaurs can't breed with equines, nor horse, donkeys or ponies.

You are trolling very hard? (I hope you are :p) or maybe the shop is trolling on facebook?

Five ponies? Ah I got a solution, where is Tiamat when you need her now? Ok, solved.
But what to do about the blink bunny? I know, this is finally a real balanced application of the sphere of annihilation!

DM Coroc just saved the multiverse!

Oh my, please let me have my fun pretty please :p

Mod note:
Other people honestly want and look forward to this. If your fun amounts to, "insult and tear down things others like," then maybe you shouldn't be doing it in their faces, hm?

Thanks for being considerate going forwards.
