D&D 5E All four Original Adventures Reincarnated!

These get better with every release. The Lost City is a fantastic volume. Great guidelines, and a BRICK of adventure content. By my count, there are 200 pages of actual adventure content in Lost City. A full 1-7 campaign here but the content is so rich it could easily go further. Then there are great 5e versions of classic but heretofore missing 1e spells--and even some new ones. New monsters, magic items too! The maps in Lost City, like previous volumes, are also great. Keep up the great work Goodman Games--and keep making them widely available to retail so that those of us in Europe can afford to buy them!

FINALLY Castle Amber is up for pre-order on Goodman Games. Although, it's the Temple of Elemental Evil that I can't wait to open up for pre-order.

I wish they would do Vault of the Drow and City of The Spider-Queen.

Those would all be great (I halfway suspect WotC might have plans for DQ, though). I think their archival approach would be fantastic for Palace of the Silver Princess.

I don't care WHO does em, but Goodman Games is probably the best one suited to do it. City of The Spider Queen is one of my fave 3.0 modules(mostly because when I got into dnd via reading books during 3.0/3.5 and stuff, that was the one Module I remember the most.)

the original B4 was a flawed but interesting module. A neat idea (lost city with dreaming humans slowly being eaten by a god monster) marred by nonsensical monster placement (sprites? Owl bear? wolf?) and the bottom levels being barely sketched out random rooms populated by random critters who have no purpose being there. Does this new book fix that?
One of the many 'developed but never used' ideas of mine was a total reworking of the old module... moved it to the WoG Sea of Dust, made it a Suloise ruin, chased out all the nonsensical monsters, revamped the lower levels into living quarters and goblin barracks, etc.

Agree 100000% about the Drow series. Imagine hundreds of pages of Goodman care and attention on those. We can dream. I would pre-order Caslte Amber but shipping doubles the price. I (and everyone on this side of the Atlantic) generally have to wait for it to show up in an online retailer (or FLGS in a big city I imagine) in the EU.

I believe Gamenerdz.com has it up on their website too. They are pretty cool. I get most of my alternate dnd covers from them or Minature Market.

Thanks for the content summary. I have v.1 and a friend in our D&D group has v.2. We've been on the fence with v.4 while holding out for ToEE. Since we have B/X (OSE) and 5e games going on different nights I'm sure one of us will eventually get v.4 just to have the option to run it in either game. How do the physical books compare across the series - any changes better or worse with regard to binding, paper, print quality, maps, artwork? In your photo the binding on the last two volumes is different than on the first two that we have.

Also, I see you teased Night Below in your photo. Not really a good candidate for the OAR series, but someone should do a 5e Night Below.

Edit: Sorry, replied before coffee. Since you have the first two, number 4 is the same in terms of style, presentation, format. Quality of binding outstanding. I'll leave original reply for others who are unfamiliar with the series.

They definitely changed printers after the first two. However, there is nothing wrong with #1 and #2. The binding appears to be folio stitched, paper weight is very strong--80gsm if I had to guess. Borderlands was used at the table for six months and handled transport and drops very well. Isle of Dread has been heavily read by my kid because...dinosaurs. They definitely 'squared off' the binding after Isle of Dread. Maybe round bindings don't wear as well. Not sure. The quality Barrier Peaks is insanely high. Every page is high gloss and there's a nice silk bookmark. In Lost City the gloss pages restricted to the reprint of the original. The artwork is consistent throughout: color reproduction of original covers and high quality black and white (although Barrier Peaks has a new color Froghemoth). The maps are black and white in all four volumes and very good. Yes, some will lament the lack of VTT, but our group chipped in a paid for a scan and poster print of a the maps from Borderlands. These are definitely legacy books. The quality of the original scans is archival. People may be familiar with .pdfs of classics on DM's Guild. The reproduction by Goodman Games is far superior to anything I have seen on DM's Guild.

P.S., If someone did a 5e conversion of Night Below and put it on DM's Guild (is it a 'legal' candidate?) they would profit.
