D&D General Would You Take This Deal?

Zardnaar

Legend
DM offers you a blade. Any physical attacks you make with a weapon deal double damage.

Your current maximum and current hit points are reduced by 75%.

Deal or no deal? I'm playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey on Nightmare difficulty with a combo that gives me 350% damage but I can't use any abilities and -75% health.

Thought about same deal in D&D.

Just to clarify: reduced BY 75% or reduced TO 75%? So, if you have 100 HP normally, do you have 25 (by) or 75 (to)?

And double damage for just the weapon or all damage?

Reduced to? Maybe.
Reduced by? Never.

You'll be squishy as hell, so I don't think it's quite worth it. Maybe go Bladesinger for the ridiculous AC and get someone to cast Warding Bond on you, along with a healer to help out, but even then it's gonna be tough.

Probably wouldn't take it since you can't actively dodge in 5e (as in move out of the way to avoid something rather than use your action to dodge) whereas in games like assassin's creed you can.
