Seeking bored library diver in select parts of NW Germany

I'm doing some genealogical research and there's a German newspaper supplement from the 1950s I'm looking for.

So, just checking to see if any of you happen to both be bored and live in Dortmund, Frankfurt, Hannover, Leipzig, Oldenburg, or Vechta? If (when) the libraries are open I'm looking for a copy of an article series from the newspaper Münsterländischen Tageszeitung in 1950-1951. There supposedly available in those cities, and an interlibrary loan page makes it look like some might send copies. One of the sections is about the small village Tenstedt that my ancestors are from. There's an on-line hand-typed transcription I've found, but I'd like a decent photo-copy, scanned copy, or original. Our interlibrary loan service is good within the US, I'm not sure how it will work out of it (they put my request in there "it will take work" pile).

Needless to say the mediocre performance I had in my two semesters of reading German 25+ years ago will make it... a fun project... :-/ even after I get them.

As it happens, you can also get German-to-English / English-to-German dictionaries at US public libraries (at least, mine has one). So two items in the 'Interlibrary Loan' list.

The University library should have a few - some of it is probably in West Low German though, and that often doesn't seem to succumb easily to google translate.

Well, I do have in-laws that live in in one of those areas (I believe they are outside the cities though). I'm not sure how I would approach them asking for something this specific or that they spend their time searching for the paper. They generally do not frequent libraries. Strange it would be in Dortmund and not Dusseldorf or Essen.

I don't think they are bored, but they are retired.
