D&D 5E Witchlight Promo Video: Ellywick Tumblestrum

WotC posted this short video on its social media accounts today, featuring a character called Ellywick Tumblestrum, who is a bard from the Magic: the Gathering D&D set, Adventures in the Forgotten Realms.

Like I've said I think Ellywick Tumblestrum will be the Jace of a D&D version of the Gatewatch, a group of characters that appear in fiction planeshifting between D&D planes and setting, which means she's likely not alone.

Between this and the D&D Beyond press release from a couple weeks ago they've let alot of cringe out in the wild here.

Can they like, do a normal stream or press release without somebody cosplaying as an elven multiversal bard or whatever?

more likely she only has one spell slot to cast Legend Lore per day.

Yeah. If this was a Strategy RPG, Ellywick would be our main character and gain Morningmist halfway through story mode as her Iconic Weapon.

My guess is either the video game reveal or that witchlight accessory thing. Thursday will be the CR reveal. I think they will save the biggest for last on Friday, James Wyatt's book.

A denser product than just a dice set. Maybe player tips and guides to Feywild characters

After that likely a tease of a video game and the Beadle & Grimm WITCHLIGHT box and/ or the associated WizKids ministures

There is no way that accessory kit is one of the major products. I bet it will contain less material than the Avernus Kit, considering how that kit cost $40, and this one is only $30 on Amazon. I'm pretty sure these addressors kits don't even have "head designers" from the D&D team, they're just grab-bags.

I'm not going to speculate much on what Wyatt's book is (it's probably wherever that Dragon-themed UA is going, but who knows), but it 'aint this accessory kit.
