D&D 5E Moonstone dragons from Celebration

I like the Planar Transition regional effect. I'm imagining a single lair built across the Feywild, the material plane and the Border Ethereal, with it being necessary to use the portals to transition between all three in order to fully explore the lair.

In past editions Moonstone Dragons were called Ethereal Dragons as well, I'm glad that just because they decided to link them to the Feywild, doesn't mean they lose their Ethereal connection.

Not a "typical" dragon! I like it.
(But I hope they fix the word "secceed" in the stat block before publication.)

Most of what makes them interesting are the Lair actions, without those the Moonstone Dragon would be an extremely dull encounter, it doesn't even get spellcasting. So you'll never want to use the Moonstone Dragon outside of its lair.

Ah, you're right: I hadn't noticed the lack of spellcasting. No befuddling breath weapon either, or shape changing, which is a trait I would have just assumed for a dragon of the feywild.
Maybe this preview is a stripped-down version of the final, so it all fits on two-pages, or soemthing?

Nope, although the Ancient Moonstone Dragon might get Spellcasting or something, because outside of its Lair, this one boring Dragon, which means it's no good for a mobile villain or hero NPC. All its Goodies are Lair locked.

Maybe the Ancient Moonstone Dragon will be able to move its Lair around.

All 5e dragons get spellcasting as an optional rule rather than part of the statblock. There might be more info on that in the book proper, but the MM already gives guidance on spellcasting dragons as an option rather than a default.
