Technically not "canon" anymore, as any Eberron lore that isn't in Eberron: Rising from the Last War is not officially canon anymore.

(And @Parmandur's idea about having the Daughter of Khyber just be an avatar of Khyber could work, but that might get a bit tricky, as then she would be the Avatar of Khyber, who would be an Avatar/Aspect of Cosmic Tiamat.)

The Dragon Gods of Eberron aren't canon anymore, and WotC is leaning a ton into the D&D Multiverse idea, both Siberys and Sardior are shattered and both Tiamat and Khyber are trapped. I'm just saying that if WotC wanted to connect Eberron's Creation Myth to the lore of the First World and D&D Multiverse, this is the perfect opportunity to do so, especially because they recently de-canonized all contradictory material from Eberron.

What is and isn't canon anymore is in a weird state right now since Chris Perkins post on canon, so I'd selve discussions on what is and isn't canon until WotC makes its intentions on the subject clearer and in a form that makes sense, although Eberron is less effected by this then the Forgotten Realms is because each edition of Eberron & its novels is relatively self contained, where as each edition of FR builds upon the foundations of the previous editions and its novel line and comics.

It's not exactly that it's self contained, but that novels never were canon.

I mean, they made themselves clear.

BTW side note, the only types Dragons in this book as far as I know who have their origins in the Forgotten Realms books, are the Deep Dragon and Song Dragon, both originally conceived as shape shifters (although in 4e the Deep Dragon lost its shape shifting as default which I didn't like).

Sadly the Brown Dragon, whose origins is in the Old Empires FR book did not make it into this book sadly. They are the only true Dragons that don't fly, they are borrowers that mainly eat sand, but really enjoy horse meat.

You know given that the Steel sidebar likely uses the Silver's general statics like in Mad Mage, wouldn't it be easy to convert a Steel Greatwyrm as well?
Doubly so if Song ends up using Copper like people are theorizing.

The real question is can you stack template upon templates, like a Shadow Steel Great Wyrm Dragon or a Dracolich Song Great Wyrm Dragon.

Here is the link to the Tod Kendrick interview of James Wyatt, that I originally forgot to add to my other post. I'm worried the Draconomicon chapter leans way, way too hard into random tables instead solid lore, hope I'm wrong.

There is mentions of Council of Wyrms, Dragonlance, and Tarkir the Dragon Campaign Chapter (I suspect Council of Wyrms will get another mention in the Playing Dragons part).

Half Dragons get mentioned, I don't know how I missed that in the TOC. Apparently while the old fashioned way of making via mating them is still an option, Half Dragons can be created by proximity to a Dragon's Lair, like a swamp near a Dragon's Lair might produce half Dragon crocodiles from the proximity of the crocs to the Dragons magical radiation or something like that.

I think Draconians are going to be Dragons, they emphasis they are monsters, although Wyatt mentions that nothing is stopping you from refluffing Dragonborn as Draconians, except your DM.

Oh and it's mentioned Moonstone Dragons can be Archfey, although how that works I'm not sure given they are Dragons not Fey. Do some choice to turn into Fey to create a Domain of Delight or as a side effect of creating one like Tasha did?
