Level Up (A5E) Pick your favorite: Monster

I know Morrus made the thread about your favorite thing in LU, but I can't just pick one thing! So in these series of threads, feel free to note your favorite!

In this thread, we are talking Monsters. Which Monster is the coolest, the scariest...simple put, the best?

For me, none other than Mr T himself, the Tarrasque. I feel like the 4e and 5e version were each missing something, but the LU version looks rock solid. Crazy defenses, knocks flying units out of the sky, insane offense, regeneration taht's actually worth talking about, Mr T is back baby!

My honorable mention: Azers. Azers to me have always been just "dwarfs on fire", nothing particularly special. But the LU version added a few twists that have breathe an entire new life into them, they are the same old "fire dwarfs" and yet now so different in certain ways that I am very excited to use them.

What are your favorites?

I haven't looked at the MM much, but I had an o5e battle against goblins last week so I looked them up, and found the Goblin Warlock. Or more precisely, I found this ability:

Surprise Sacrifice. A living goblin ally the warlock can see within 60 feet explodes, dying instantly. Each creature within 10 feet of the exploding goblin makes a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw, taking 10 (3d6) fire damage on a failure or half damage on a success.

A lot has been rightly made about Paul's care for fixing the maths with MM, but this right here is just insanely cool flavour.

The 4e pit fiend had a similar ability (the same really) that I always thought was cool. Not sure I like it for goblins, but it is a flavorful ability.

Yeah the 4e pit fiend was just boss, and it explained why they were the absolute authority. Do anything they don't like....and explode!
