I have silly question

I'm back after a 5ish month self imposed exile and upon returning I have notice that a lot of posters are not quoting the posts they are answering/replying to. Is there a threaded view I am not aware of? That would explain the apparent change.

Right. This, or have been ignored/blocked by other users. That also can hide quotes within a post, making it hard to tell that a reply actually is regarding something specific.

Or, as the above poster references, more likely have multiple posters ignored you for any reason.

I don't think that's the case because I can follow the thread of the conversation, it's just that some folks seem to reply without quoting (which gives me reddit vibes, which is why I thought maybe it was due to a threaded view).

I'd check to see if there are any missing post #'s on the few pages of the thread you think the quote is missing from, just to be sure.
