I’m not sure what you mean. Why would the tech being fueled by magical energy make it an illusion?

The effects of the magitech aren't illusion, that it's actually still fi is the illusion, it's fantasy using sci fi Cyberpunk tropes, but everything is still functionally spells and magic still.

I thought I'd put this here, as it doesn't deserve it's own thread in a D&D subforum. I have not watched it yet, but it's interesting as the MTG team doesn't usually do a full "This is how we built the world!" panel for cardsets.

I'd be all for it. I still want a kitsune race for 5E. Although til then, I have to refluff the Elf and Half-Elf race to fulfill that need.

WotC seems very excited for the worldbuilding here: my estimation of a possible D&D tie in is increasing.

Beadle and Grimm's site shows the box includes a Map of Kamigawa and an In-World Guide. I'm curious whether this was developed by WotC, or whether B&G made these themselves.
