I come to the front page and click on "Community".

Almost always the front new post list. Unless I can't find a particular thread, then I usually go to search and try to remember the title. And then when that fails I go dive in the particular forum/subforum list.

I check my alerts, then I navigate to my usual sub-forums (old-school, general, and Pathfinder) via the forum list. Sometimes I drop by the D&D forum since non-5e stuff shows up there, but that’s less frequent. After I’m done reading and responding, I mark everything read.
