Pathfinder 2E How is Pathfinder doing?

Oh, I didn't realize that. Art like the cover of Grand Bazzar has me a bit worried they're swinging in the wrong direction. We already have this "warm fuzzy" business in 5E, I don't want it in PF too. I'm hoping they pivot away and go with their original tone that more closely matches the deadly mechanics.
There was a deliberate decision to have someone other than Wayne Reynolds do the Lost Omens cover artwork...probably because there's only such much time WR has in a year to make covers for paizo :p. The artist for Grand Bazaar and many other Lost Omens books is Ekaterina Burmak. I think she's a fine artist, but perhaps the art direction she's given is looser or weaker. The cover art done by Wayne Reyonds for the Rulebook line still has that distinct tone that permiated Pathfinder's first edition. Here's an example from the latest rulebook, Book of the Dead:

Wow, she's incredibly talented, that's for sure. I love most of the other Lost Omen covers, so if she was responsible for those, she's okay in my book.

Grand Bazzar is one of the few books I don't own. Now that I think about it, is the setting a place to rest, relax, and do a ton of shopping? I guess that would make sense why the cover would be more light-hearted...

Oh, and worth buying?

And I can't wait for that book! My wife loves playing necromancers, so hoping there is a ton of fun stuff for her in there.

Oh yes. The Hallowed Necromancer archetype, the Undead Master archetype, and the Reanimator archetype will be of great interest, as will the Undead eidolon for summoners. There's no new spells, unfortunately, but the archetypes that allow for PC undead are likely to be interesting as well.

I am actually a fan of her artwork, so I think she does a good job.

Grand Bazaar details a huge marketplace in Absalom - so yeah, a place to just do shopping. The book itself is well worth it, the shop and shopkeepers are just (chefs kiss).

Here you can find actual data of roll20 users division on different systems. Pathfinder 1e has stayed in same percentage while 2e has dropped from previous year.

I think the most interesting part is how Call of Cthulu has slid into the second spot for RPGs. Now it5E D&D, Call of Cthulu, and Other. Wild.

Wow, thanks for sharing. I had no idea PF numbers were so low compared to D&D, let alone their older system.
