D&D 5E Ravnica: General info? Player Races & Classes?

not-so-newguy

I'm the Straw Man in your argument
I'll be switching over to the Player's side in about a month. I've been the sole DM for our group for about year now and I'm ready for the change. The new DM wants to run something from Ravnica. It's his first time DMing and he's already familiar with the setting.

What Races and classes are available in Ravnica?
Any free info out there for players?
Any cheap PDFs (under $5) for players?

I know next to nothing about this place except that it's based on Magic The Gathering and this preview that the DM sent out:
You are a denizen of Ravnica, a sprawling and ubiquitous cityscape.

Little is known outside the city life as it encompasses seemingly every corner of the world. Ten guilds govern Ravnica and all are represented in the centermost area of the plane, the Tenth District.

All manners of life exist in this plane where magic and science coexist and harmonize, at times to destructive ends. The guilds coexist, bound by a magical law called The Guildpact. Since the signing of The Guildpact, a decamillenium of cooperation and coexistence allowed Ravnica to flourish and prosper. The cityscape developed and spurned countless advances in science, magic and architecture.

But the Guildpact is threatened. There are those who would see its end to further their own goals.

You find yourself within the Tenth District at the beginning of a sinister plot. How you got here, your goal and motivations are up to you.

Are you a member of a guild or guildless? Are you here with purpose or simply a local? Are you running from someone? Or, perhaps there is something you seek desperately...

Welcome to Ravnica.

Thanks!

The Guildmasters Guide to Ravnica is pretty good, but in terms of Race & Class...just Human and Elf from the PHB, every Class option is fine, and the big book details which Subclass would generally fit which Guild.

What Races and classes are available in Ravnica?
According to Guildmasters' Guide to Ravnica, the following playable races are available: human, elf, centaur, goblin, loxodon, minotaur, Simic hybrid, and vedalken. Most of those are detailed in the book.

All classes are available, and the book includes two new subclasses: the Order Domain for clerics and the Circle of Spores for druids. Both got reprinted in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything.

See link in the post above mine.

Not that I'm aware of, but do check the DMs Guild. There might be something on there.

Here's something that worked for me. Other noobs might like it

Another source to help you get in the mood is the accompanying coffee table book, which is full art and a lot of detailed Lore written by James Wyatt in this book:
