I’m not so sure when they said so.They said so 4 months ago.
They have edited them and added content after “publication” before and I dint remember that paragraph.
Also there is a “Next Issue” article in that last issue…..

Yep. There have been three times now when I've been disconnected from gaming for a significant period. The first two of these were when the magazines were still in print, and getting that regular fix of gaming material always served to keep me connected to things in a way that, say, discussion boards simply do not.I miss Dragon Magazine.
I totally missed this memo...The crazy thing to me is that they probably could do a “magazine”
A high end one that came out three times a year. I bet it’d sell like crazy.
Beyond suffers some of the same issues as Dragon+, the worst being that the free stuff is viewed as and often is only add material.I totally missed this memo...
My children love flipping through my D&D books, and magazines. If they did a general audiences magazine today, they might have a viable audience. But Beyond is probtsking over that old Dragon/Dunfeon role, based on what they have been putting up there.
No disagreement from me, but I am skeptical that they will pursue a print magazine in 2022.Beyond suffers some of the same issues as Dragon+, the worst being that the free stuff is viewed as and often is only add material.
Dint get me wrong, there is some fabulous things there.
Almost certainly they won't. I think they will continue toput stuff out through DND Beyond. No disagreement from me, but I am skeptical that they will pursue a print magazine in 2022.
Oh, yea. I’m pretty sure they won’t.No disagreement from me, but I am skeptical that they will pursue a print magazine in 2022.
A subscription for RPG products?Oh, yea. I’m pretty sure they won’t.
I am trying to pitch an idea of something more like an “annual” and add it in as one of the “products” on the schedule. Just add a subscription to it.
