a snapshot of the industry

I was looking at the Enworld news page, and realized how it summarized the industry perfectly. If it's not D&D nobody is interested.... by factor of HUNDREDS. I don't know why ENnworld even bothers to report on non-dnd stuff. Nobody reads it.

Why not turn this website back into a DnD news site like how it started? It was a worthy experiment but nobody cares about the other stuff.

I think its more of a case that an updated version of D&D is coming so people are interested more in that, then other things right now.
No. The screenshot shows today because I did it today. A screenshot from 3 years ago would show the exact same thing. Nobody has EVER been interested in anything that's not DND (or a culture war thing, which is even more popular than dnd).

Personally, I like seeing material for other RPGs, even if I don't leave a comment.
It's easy enough not to look at those articles if you don't want to.
That's the opposite of what I want. I was expressing regret that nobody reads non-dnd articles, as proved by the stats, and wondering why enworld even bothers as nobody reads them. I do. Apparently nobody else does.

Yes, D&D articles get 100/1000x the views that non-D&D articles do. It's the reality of the industry. But in my view, it's a duty to report on the non-D&D stuff, even if nobody reads it, even if those articles cost more than they make. Because somebody might read them.

I appreciate that ENWorld has articles that cover other things than the current or upcoming iteration of D&D. I would probably visit the site much less if they weren't there. I rarely comment on the front page articles, though - most discussions that interest me happen only on the forums.

I've bought an increasing number of non-D&D RPGs over the last 3-4 years, and that's mostly thanks to coverage on this site. I may not comment often, but I would find EN World less interesting if all it was, was D&D only and all the time.

This is correct. Article views go:
