This product seems like someone's nightmare of what Hasbro would do to D&D when they acquired it 20-some years ago.
Based on how 'well' some of the Star Wars and Marvel ones have gone...Haslab dragon?
It’s a harmless dice toy, there are tons of stuff on the same level already out at toy stores. This product seems like someone's nightmare of what Hasbro would do to D&D when they acquired it 20-some years ago.
I'm quite aware it's harmless, I just find them funny because the transformer nature makes seem like someone's parody of a Hasbro-fied D&D.It’s a harmless dice toy, there are tons of stuff on the same level already out at toy stores.
. . . It's a toy. Made by a toy company. It was probably designed for children and collectors, not the general D&D playerbase.Just when I thought there were no more sacred cows left to be squeezed for a buck. Need to reach the billion dollar goal somehow.
"Do you remember when we had to crayon over our Dicelings? That was so sus!"Grab the crayons!
I sure hope people aren't still saying that in 13 years.
I think the big issue with the Marvel and Star Wars stuff is the Disney Premium. Look at that damn Ghost Rider car: It's worth almost TWO Deathsaurus for a giant car? There's probably less engineering and plastic than in a Voyager Class Transformers in there, no way an extra clear pastic tooling and some LED are worth the premium... it's gotta be Disney inteference.Based on how 'well' some of the Star Wars and Marvel ones have gone...
Good luck if so?
(mind as a Transformers fan, they just revealed Deathsaurus so, y'know. Going all in on that lad)
