The Dungeons and Dragons movies release date has been pushed back to March 31st.
From ComicBook.com

Paramount Pictures has moved the release date for its upcoming Dungeons & Dragons movie. The blockbuster movie will now be released on March 31st, essentially swapping places with Scream 6, which will now come out on March 10th. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves was set to be released on March 3, 2023, whileScream 6 was due to be released on March 31st. No reason was given for the delay.

Possibly a sign that the studio thinks the D&D movie is better than they expected it to be. January into early March is generally considered a period for studios to "dump" movies into release. That period of the year has the smallest moviegoing audiences, and studios generally release movies in that timeframe that they think have no award prospects, or that tested badly, or that have limited audiences (horror movies, or stuff basically aimed mainly at teenagers only).

A March 31 release with screenings into April indicates they're likely more hopeful that it will draw.

I have a little trepidation still about the quality of it because a lot of the actors in talking about it are using the "we had so much fun making this" line, which is what actors say when they are struggling to say something positive, because it's a way to sound enthusiastic about a project while not claiming the project is any good.

Interesting, instead of competing with Shazam and John Wick on it's second and third weekends, it will deal with Super Mario it's second. Shazam and Wick are probably closer to the audience demo it's going after, which means it could play well through April up until GotG in the first week of May.
