WotC did the same with Spelljammer, with Volume 1 of the Monstrous Compendium.

Have to admit I'm a little underwhelmed with the idea of a CR8 Forestmaster. He (she?) is one of the few candidates for a canonical Archfey warlock patron in the setting, and probably should be beefier if that's going to make sense.

There's an official CR 10 Archfey in Domains of Delight. I agree that it's probably too weak for an Archfey, but it's not far off from one of the few official examples in 5e.

As an aside, I always thought the Forestmaster was female, but the compendium entry uses “he”.

I would have thought to hear something about my bundle by now. A shipping notification or something. It didn’t help I stopped at the local, game store and saw it sitting on the self there.
I'm vaguely irritated, but since I've already planned to get the LFGS-only cover this week anyway, I'm only annoyed that I might not have the board game available for the next session.

It's not clear when the board game will be available at retail. This is more than a little upsetting.

Has anybody seen Warriors of Krynn in the wild, other than as part of the Collector's Box?

It's more that I was already planning on buying an extra copy of the book (the FLGS-only cover is awesome looking), but have no need or desire to buy a second game as I have the one on order.

That is a nice cover. I usually don’t get the special covers but I wouldn’t mind that one. But I am not buying another copy of the book for another cover.
