WotC Shadow of the Dragon Queen Preorder Report

Ordered the digital physical bundle from the DnDStore and haven't received or have any indication of when I will (did receive the digital redemption code). Very disappointed with their fulfillment company and doubt I will order from them again.

Other than the lack of communication, I don't think it's quite time to get up in arms yet - they could potentially already be on their way. If this drags out for over a week or so with nothing from WotC, then it's time to get upset...

There was also a UPS tracking link which I clicked. All I got was that the label was created and that the delivery date will be provided as soon as possible.

I'd wrongfully assumed that the order would ship to deliver on the release date, like with Amazon. And the lack of communication about when the order will ship is an issue. I'm not up in arms about it, just probably won't use the service again unless I hear they've corrected some of the issues. There isn't even a way to go to the store and see the status of the order.

We can make an educated guess, based on their answer to the question "When will I get my items?" in the FAQ

Yeah, the FAQ makes it pretty clear they're still figuring this whole process out and expect some bumps in the road. It does specify the date listed is the earliest the products might ship, which they could have been clearer in the item's listing but it's not like they're exactly hiding there was no intent to have the product in your hands on release date.

I've bought stuff from smaller companies that only have a single weekly UPS pickup, so it's possible the company (Scalefast) that WotC has outsourced this to might only send stuff out once a week.

I gotten my ecopy but not the hardcover from Amazon. My game is this Friday. Why am I typing this to yoy. I have 10 to 20 hours prep work. AAARCH.

What about Warriors of Krynn? Is it out or does it release later? I ordered the book & game (from MM), but I notice it hasn’t shipped yet, and though I saw the book locally, I haven’t seen the board game showing up yet.
