It's not Sci-Fi, it's Space Fantasy.

They are PDFs, not books (though you can choose to print them). They are all located at the link provided. It's a completely fan-made game system (5 books!), closely following the outlines of Star Wars: Saga Ed. It is extremely popular.

No thanks i don't like star wars rpgs in general, the films i can take or leave.

Amazing Adventures 5e. Multi-genre Modern 5e RPG. a lot of the adventures seem to be pulp based type stuff.

Everyday Heroes. We played a short 3 session game between 5e campaigns. It seems well done and I liked it. There's a bit of filing off the serial numbers for some of the PC class abilities as you'll recognize them from a DnD class. I was willing to continue but we got TPK'd by a hellhound.

I backed that one, and i love it, but they are putting things out very slowly, and physical books are like moths still away, but can't see paying over 20 bucks for an adventure with a few rules included. That is why i quit buying wizard hasbro books for D&D
