D&D Movie/TV Just saw Simon the Sorcerer's Action Figure (HUGE SPOILER WARNING)

You'veReading the box containing Simon's action figure, and while I wasn't surprised that his Half Elf hertiage was confirmed, or that he descends from Wizards, despite being a Sorcerer, the big reveal about his Heritage is...He's descended from Elminister Aumar!

For some reason didn't expect that, but I should have, I mean at this point half the heroes of the Forgotten Realms are probably related to Elminister, whose magic seed has likely spread further then Ghangis Khan's.

I love Samuel L. Jackson, but him playing Elminister would not be a good idea, maybe one of the Bara instead.

Ideally Ed Greenwood would play Elminister, but there are other good choices as well.

I'm not sure what actor would be right for the role, Mike Myers? Pierce Brosnan?

I kind of picture Elminster as a Cross between Gandalf/Merlin and Austin Powers/James Bond.
