A lot of folks probably haven't kept up with him since Planescape, and that's what they remember and liked.

Can't expect an artist to do the same stuff for decades, of course. Maybe he's in his "cute" phase now.
His style (for this at least) is definitely more bright and happy than the old 2E gritty style. Another of those interesting contrasts of the old and new.

Too cute? My friend, if that wasn't brand new DiTerlizzi art teased for the Planescape book, I'll eat my dice bag. If you've seen any of his more recent work it's dead on for his current style.
Well, a whole lot of Planescape fans probably just put it on their buy list for just that alone!

Oh, I thought you were joking, but the collab is real. It is a master play by Hasbro. The fun fact would be if we see a kid-friendly version of a retold "Dark Sun".

Crossover/collab monster dicelings and bakugan?

About the cartoon song... a clue about future no-fantasy settings? For example Gamma World and Star Frontiers later.

In the past I talked about a possible event in the D&D metaverse, but I had forgotten about those obsidian monoliths. We could bet WotC needed a good excuse to explain the possible reboot of the complete franchise. Even an "updated" (and maybe softer) version of Dark Sund is possible. If it is necessary, you can blame Vecna.

Bigby's Fizban for Giants, I think.

Phandelver after that, then it seems like Planescape has been moved up the schedule a bit - was originally listed as coming later than the Book of Many Things, but now it seems like it's coming out before it. A different look for the Lady of Pain than I'm used to, but I'll take it nonetheless.

EDIT: Ah, looks like you're correct - Bigby's been moved to Q3 as well.

Interesting - so no Q2 product. I would assume Bigby's will be early Q3 (presumably July), though, as that's a longer gap than usual.
