D&D (2024) How did I miss this about the Half races/ancestries

I would not go with all that England/India thing, but I do know of cases where grandchildren or even greatgrandchildren got property in court that their greatgrandparents were illegally kicked out(one way or the other). So yes, the dwarves have a claim on it.

not more rights, but in civilization they could have more influence and have better claim for some things.

Ah, I see. So the dwarves can legally kick out people who have lived multiple generations in a place, because the dwarves have more influence in society and a "better claim" to the land. But there are no racist overtones here, just the wealthy and affluent who are more influential in society dictating rules to the less wealthy and affluent about where they are allowed to live and what rights they have.

that is great idea, but I would like to keep some living also as adversaries by default.

Lots of living enemies that aren't humanoids. Maybe the default enemy is something insectile like the Kruthik then. An endless, ravenous swarm.

or we might get all settings again the same if the baseline is different.

Or we might not.

It's 100% about fictional races unless you can show me a non-human person in the real world. Person=human in the real world.

So no alien or artificial life will ever be a person in your eyes? That isn't an attitude I happen to agree with, tends to be rather limiting.

I've been eying up Kruthik for a while as an enemy.

Might homebrew more varied statblocks for them though, using Tyranids as inspiration. Could even be Kruthik with innate spellcasting.

Ah yes, pure orc culture with nothing else in it. It isn't like that first quote literally states "blend the traditions of human and orc". I mean, I'm sure the pure orc cultures work with steel... oh wait, ancient sect of druids that don't use steel... hmmmmmm. Well, I wonder where they got the idea to do that, it is just pure orc culture with no other elements whatsoever.
Yep. That's exactly how cultures work. Cultures evolve with outside influences. Orcs weren't born with the MM culture and no other way can be orc culture. The instant that those orcs blended the cultures, that became their new orc culture all their own.
Oh but Wildemount, where that orcish settlement was taken over the by the Human empire, driving out some of the orcs who didn't want to join the empire to the Brokenveil Marsh.
What difference does that make? They were still civilized orcs, even if the humans weren't.

No idea. It's not something I can answer until I see one. If you have one for me, please put it on the news so the world can experience it. Considering that one AI already tried to destroy humanity, that's a lifeform that should never be created. Humans are fools, though, so we're going to do it anyway.

Faolyn there are some practical hurdles here - the size of the PHB, the number of racial variants and lazy standard of that race, the number of playable races, will there be a go to setting because that would likely set the standard of those races, right?
How do you imagine it?
Well, I don't think you need to worry quite as much as to the size of the PHB. The Level Up Adventure's Guide is over 650 pages, and of course pdfs can be nearly any size without worry. Of course, it's unlikely that WotC would print a book to that size...

If you mean "racial variants" like wood elf versus high elf... personally, I wouldn't include them. I like how LU makes those as cultures, and even before LU, they never really made a lot of sense to me. And I don't see a reason to worry about a default setting, although I could see having a few sentences on how each species is treated in each world.

But for actual descriptions of the species? I said it before: in as neutral terminology as possible. Or at least come up with examples that show each species in as many lights as possible. Orcs don't have to be evil and warlike. They still could be the type who prefer to settle conflicts physically and for some, this involves contests of strength and stamina; for others, violent retribution. They can be proud of their physical prowess and never hesitate to show it off. They can enjoy combat, but might like "counting coup" as much as actual battle, or they may simply be willing to fight for any cause they deem interesting enough, giving them a reputation as mercenaries rather than savages. Or maybe they simply like anything that involves a lot of physicality and so orcball is a popular sport.

I'd count Neanderthals and Denivosans as people, despite not being human.
Interbreeding was possible, at least with the Neanderthals, so they were pretty much the same as us. The same race, even if another species of that race. This is about something completely alien, not the same race.

So, sixth time that you're not willing to do some bullet points.

Do you actually have any reasons here?

Faolyn. I mean this in the most friendly way possible, I can't respond to you until you stop being rude to me. And I am not going to answer questions that sound like an interrogation or demand (I just resounded to another poster who asked for reasons, feel free to look at those if you want---if you want further clarification just approach this conversation in a more friendly way and I will be happy to accommodate you)
