The ability to mix and match masteries seems likely to stay.I wonder if they'll go back and give Fighter anything of their own, now that everyone gets weapon masteries.
Also, more attacks -> more masteries.

Yes indeed they did! Because the new fatigue 'did not get enough excitement', which is just a made-up requirement when they want something to fail - no-one is ever going to be EXCITED about new fatigue rules, which they never used in the first place, because of how gruesome they were.Wait -- I haven't been following the development for a couple months. Did they drop the new 10 level exhaustion and go back to the clunky, punishing 2014 version?
Sounds like they are just getting moved up a level to 21.the loss of epic boons
epic boons will still be a thing, just not the 20th level abilities.
I only mean they will probably go back to an option in the DMG rather than a part of the leveling process in the PHB.Sounds like they are just getting moved up a level to 21.
And only "removed" from this playtest, because it's big enough. Not from the final game.
It allows for variations in the class / subclass power budget. But it gives the main Class some power budget back. That's probavly why they only kitted out one Subclass for each Class with the test progression.
We don’t really know. This is all testing. But as of right now we will have to check the glossary of the new playtest to see.Wait -- I haven't been following the development for a couple months. Did they drop the new 10 level exhaustion and go back to the clunky, punishing 2014 version?
Way of the shadow (monk sub-class) was specifically mentioned. Will the Monk be one of the classes in this UA?
Wait where did they say this in the video? Do you know where the timestamp is?Yes indeed they did!
