D&D 5E Amazon US book sales rank.

Just a bit I keep noticing. The Spelljammer adventure keeps ranking high on Amazon. It's 12th out of the D&D Books section and the only things doing better than it are Dragon Heist and the Essentials kit.

Granted it's on sale but others are too. Some steeper.
Yeah, I know a lot of us regulars are disappointed with it (I just wanted like 32 more pages, and a big editing pass by sensitivity readers!), but ot does seem to.me that it has sold well.

Selling better than Tasha's and only the core is selling better.

Is it a set number of box sets that they will produce or do they produce the number of pre-sales. I want it but I'd like to know if I had time to wait and see or I just need to get the presale.

They'll do an initial print run to cover pre sales and an estimated sell through rate. With the possibility to green light further printings ASAP. Least I think so.

Looking around, it seems that Spielleiter is a pretty generic term in German, and can be used of both sports referrees, tour guides, or convention organizers (any sort of convention) in addition to tabletop wargaming and RPG purposes.
