Let's try a few more monsters based on their descriptions:

"A barlgura looks like a hulking orangutan with a gruesome, drooping visage and tusks jutting from its jaw. Standing just under 8 feet tall, it has broad shoulders and weighs 650 pounds. It moves apishly along the ground, but it climbs with great speed and agility."

I've seen very obvious Sarah Michelle Gellar and Kim Kardashian faces at times. Not sure if it's just chance in those cases, or whether like in the Bollywood scenario it's due to the volume of of celebrity faces distorting the algorithm.

I've been playing with how well it recognises IP-specific terms.



It was able to interpolate from 'blood angels space marine' to get all the correct canonical armour and colour scheme without putting any actual bloody angels in the picture (it didn't nail the details of the heraldry, unsurprisingly!), but it didn't understand 'plaguebearer daemon' even when i added 'of nurgle'.

There seems too be a very hard threshhold where it ceases to understand the specialised terms, probably due to a lack of training material, and just makes stuff up or ignores items it doesn't recognise. It can understand 'space wolf space marine', but not 'genestealer' or 'baneblade'. I do like the little pink space marines sitting around having a tea party with Barbie though.

I had the same problem trying to get it to generate an image of a Zulu warrior with one of those distinctive pointed-oval cowhide shields. It has a very specific idea of what shape a shield is, and doesn't understand any of the specific terms - isihlangu, ihawu, ingubha, ikhaka or ikhawu (according to google)

It understood 'jabba', but not 'hutt', although it did put the stormtrooper in front of a very jabbas-palace building in the first case.

I'd say he understood hutt, but is more trained to identify Jabba as Jabba than as Hutt. And since he is rather good at correcting spelling mistakes, based on this thread, it's totally possible he decided you wanted to type hut instead. So you got stoormtropper in front of a (Tatooine) hut.

Yeah, it is pretty awesome. However, I think I'll go with the first one because I want to emphasize that he is mean-spirited rather than just a crazy old drunk.

Tried to get Dall-E to make and Elder Elemental Eye, but it just could not understand directions on which way the triangle should be pointing... So, first is the original AI element. The second is my ham-fisted attempt at Photoshop to make what I wanted...

Hey guys! I figured out that "barefoot" is OK even if "bare feet" isn't. Check it out!



My daughter likes the second and third ones best. (Tried to add a "burst of wild magic" to the prompt but it didn't come out all that well. I like how consistent the overall look is, though.)

@Parmandur: what's the solution to removing dwarf women's beards? Do tell!

Try "strong robust short 5 foot broad-shouldered feminine dwarven female lady"
Not foolproof, still get Dwarven dudes in dresses or Elfy/Humans ladies. But some work!

@Parmandur: I notice that you always capitalize the species in your prompts. Did you find that gives you better results than leaving it lower case?
