On a more serious note. IIRC, silvers are the ones who get it done. They are actively fighting evil and the first to jump into the fray. They lead the armies of good against evil from the battlefront and I respect that.
They also traditionally have, IMO, some of the best designs (representation, not game mechanics).
EDIT: I am not sure where I got that characterization of silvers as I don't see it in the 2e or 3e lore (editions I skipped) and the 1e MM doesn't have much lore. Maybe it came from 4e? IDK
There is this from the 3e Draconimicon:
Silver dragons are hardly pacifists, however, and they are quick to battle other beings who would do evil or harm the innocent. They usually do not take it upon themselves to root out evil, as gold and bronze dragons tend to do. Silver dragons find that, in time, evil tends to make itself felt almost everywhere, and they seek to stamp it out whenever it appears in their vicinity. Should they discover widespread evil looming over the land, however, they are both willing and able to locate its source and tackle it there.
And this from the 4e MM2:
And, though I am not really into polymorphed dragons, there was one back in the day that caught my eye:
