Yup, history book along with a complete reprint. Not clear if it is just the original box set recreatee, bit the sheer size and the tineframe suggests thia could reprint all of OD&D.

Is that June 18th release date set in stone now? I was under the impression the release dates were announced in error, then retracted, and as far as I know haven't yet been re-announced or amended.

I ask because June 18th just happens to be my birthday, so if this book were to in fact release on that day...

They just announced the formal dates up through February 2025.

this looks like the "new Mike" kind of library book or something...as my new me is much pickier about what he spends money on, but "old Mike" would have been in line at the FLGS to buy this.

Here's to hoping WotC finally catches up to the OSR of 15 years ago and starts including ribbon bookmarks in their books. Not just this one, but in the actual core books, modules, and supplements.
