Me too. Once I decided that I did not care how far it diverged from the lore, so long as it was good, I really started to enjoy it.

(House of the Dragon is still a better show, though.)

I think it's fair to say that both shows are entertaining but not as good as they could have been. And both are miles better than the Wheel of Time.
