D&D (2024) Early access to 2024 books in DnDBeyond is tied to subscription tier.

Yeah, they're turning the screws on having an active DDB subscription. For those of us who already had it, no big deal -- and likely some "free" perks -- but I expect that people who had good reason not to subscribe (a Masters subscription ain't cheap and isn't likely to be getting cheaper) will be rightfully frustrated.
It is 55/year or 4.58 per month. It is fairly inexpensive.

I disagree. Logic that doesn't consider circumstances and severity is flawed logic.
in which case your logic was flawed because it said ‘if you are no worse off than at some arbitrary point, then me taking something away you got since is perfectly ok’

I'm saying its a net negative. It's taking away something. Not even taking away something it's taking it away and giving it to those with more money. It being a faster release of a digital book or a candy bar its still a taking away. Even if it's just time.
Waiting can be a positive, so I don't think it even necessarily think it is a negative to remove early access.

I said since the start of D&D Beyond which is less than 10 years ago. I think that qualifies as "a few years ago," but YMMD.
that was for DDB preorders / early access, I am applying the same principle to non-DDB to show the flaw in it

Put another way, why should I be ok with DDB taking something away they offered recently just because they did not also offer it 10 years ago already
