You can go to nuka world whenever you like. Getting there's the problem.

Vault 88 and Far Harbor are level locked iirc.

I don’t think so. I got those quests pretty early on in the game.

I don’t want to be the raiders’ overboss. I just came to kill the courser, whom I haven’t found yet. I don’t like that they’ve enslaved people. Yes, I’ve talked to the doctor and have got the Open Season quest.

I just want to kill all the raiders!

One way of doing it. You miss out on content. Future playthrough. I normally go mildly evil then kill raiders. I don't think I kill any innocents. Raiders not so much. There's some really good perks but at level 80 doesn't matter to much.

You can go to nuka world whenever.

Mechanist DLC fires at 14, Vault 88 at 20. Far Harbor 30.

Not 100% sure if you xan access those areas though. Far Harbor fairly confident you can't not sure on the others.

Nuka World has an unofficial challenge. Reach nuka world survival mode lowest level you can. I've heard of level 3 it's theoretically possible level 1.

I've bee lined for the South at level 2 picking up late game weaponry at level 2. Level 7 is lowest I've killed a Mirelurk Queen I've heard of people doing it a lot lower.

Open for some advice regarding playthroughs/dlc? You've beaten the main quest?

I have not.

Z1-14 told me to keep working with Father. I’m up to the part where Father has asked me to record a message, but I don’t want to do that. The Railroad is just giving me radiant quests (like this courser in Nuka-World). Haven’t had a Minuteman quest in a while. I only have two settlements left to get (Croup and Warwick). BOS are enemies.

I’m not sure how to proceed with the main story … unless the only way to do so is to record that stupid message?

I guess I’ve gone to Nuka-World not just to kill the courser but also to find something new to do because otherwise I’m just hunting for pool balls and micromanaging my settlements.

Tough to get past the enemies at the transit centre without hitting level 2, but potentially possible.

So I guess I’ve gone over to Nuka-World not just to kill the courser but for something to do besides trying to complete my collections of pool balls and micromanage my settlements.

What faction are you working for?

A fallout level is worth between 2.5-4 D&D levels. You're more or less in 3.0 epic levels.

Nuka World and FH are probably about 15ish levels so you're going above level 100.

I woukd probably complete the fame and settlements and restart for NW and FH. Maybe 1 playthrough each.

At the levels you are you can faceroll across the keyboard and win. FH is really atmospheric especially survival mode level 30ish.

Nuka World can actually be challenging. Toughest mobsters in the game there.

Both DLCs have really bonkers weapons and perks. FH has the way better story.

Survival mode changes the game it becomes an open world survival game. FH has a horror/Lovecraft vibe, beautiful looking and has 4 settlements with stories related to them. There's 3 or 4 decent endings to do, Nuka World has 1.

Tier list.

FH survival mode. S+
FH not survival S tier.

Nuka World. B tier.
Nuka World Open Season D tier.

Minutemen and Railroad, although I’m currently acting like I’m on the Institute’s side, but I’m totally going to turn on them when the time is right.

Nah. I’m just gonna play this game once and then move on to something else. I tend not to do multiple playthroughs of really big games like this. I did play Jedi: Survivor twice but that was only so I could use the NG+-only rainbow lightsaber.

No kidding! Especially that jerk that I had to repeatedly spray with a water gun just to be able to damage him.

He's an easy one.

Truncated playthroughs skip settlement building or have one. Far Harbor only is kinda fun.

You picked the two worst endings storyline wise. Morality wise one is kinda good, one is kinda flawed and two evil ones (vs Nuka world Evil).
