I am not sure what magical secrets actually does: can you chose one of the lists or is it immediately all lists?

If so, the bard spell list above level 5 spells could be very very short, as you have 3 big lists to chose from anyway. Maybe the bard spell lists stops at level 5.

Admittedly a bit unclear in the video, but going by the version of Magical Secrets in UA6, it seems to imply that once you hit level 10, your bard spell list expands to include everything from the cleric, druid, and wizard spell lists.

Assume that the Bard spell list is mostly the same as it was before but with more spell options. Magical secrets now means, they pick Wizard, Cleric or Druid, and from then on they can pick a spell from one of those lists when the get more spells known (or exchange an old Bard spell known for a new one) when leveling up.

so does font of inspiration no longer give your inspirations back after a short rest? you can recover them with spell slots, but that's a decent nerf if true.

Interesting that they limited what spell lists you can get your extra spells from with Magical Secrets and Magic Initiate.

I wonder If when Fey touched and Shadow touched are reprinted if they will have the same restrictions.

Going by the last UA it was still get all back on Short Rest, it just was that the spell slot thing was something they added to it.
