Hey folks. A thread for those that want to discuss Rings of Power in a positive way. As the other thread has been overwhelmed with negativity this is a thread for those happy to suspend disbelief and just talk about the story, characters, plot etc of Rings of Power, I appreciate that people...

You tuned into a the penultimate episode of season 2 of a TV show, and are rating it as "The bad: almost everything" because the events don't make sense to you?

To be fair, watching only the season premiere and finale was a pretty efficient way to experience The Walking Dead. But I don't recommend it for Rings of Power.

The bridge was dumb!
The troll laughing was bad as its dying
Just bad dialogue
The standoff with the 2 dwarves vs warriors
So much stuff in that doesnt exist in the lore

There’s a lot of money invested and yet the only part that seemed interesting was the ring making

Then the rings being taken away we know just doesn’t happen

Ah. You are a Tolkien Lore Deep-Diver, are you? Yeah, I can empathize, even though it doesn't bother me. Care to elaborate on what parts are egregious and why it matters?

Really? The rings? You didn't even like the horse that back-kicked an orc off the screen? I thought that part was awesome, myself. (And not easy to film). In fact, I felt that they did a LOT with their budget in the latest episode.

Well, we know that they'll get distributed eventually. There's no reason to think that it happens right away. In fact, one of the shows' lore "problems" is a truncated timeline, and yet you... what? Want the rings to go to all the Humans right away?

I may sound like I'm dismissing your concerns, that that is the opposite of what I mean to be doing - I wouldn't reply to you if I was dismissive. I want to know why you feel the way you do, and more about your opinion than "this sux". What about it?

Depends if the hate is ranting or whatever.

RoP has some problems though espicially season 1. Not good is being generous.

It hasn't blown up like GoT early on or Fallout. WoT also turned in a better season after a similar S1.
