D&D General D&D Lay Offs/Corporate Re-Organization

I love pumpkin pie spice, but god dang does that hot milkshake they call a latte have too much sugar for me to ever justify putting into my body.
My GF used to work at Starbucks, which was strange because she hates coffee. Then she explained to me that it does makes sense because nobody drinks coffee at Starbucks, they just sell liquid desserts.

Remember: it doesn't have to be this way. This is a choice, made by individuals. Normalizing it is letting those individuals off the hook.
It's also a choice made by individuals to seek employment at a company that reliably screws over its workers every. single. damn. year. No excuses for Hasbro leadership, but they wouldn't be able to get away with this if workers didn't put up with it. There are plenty of good companies to work for out there. Maybe you won't get to work on D&D, but at least you'll have work next year.

Depending on the industry, it's simply not safe to assume guaranteed employment. Whether that trend is good or bad gets into topics not appropriate for this forum.

Nice victim blaming. It would be better to have good working protection laws so there is no need to only seek employment for the seemingly good companies (and pray they stay good - catastrophe is always only one leadership change away) . As a European I am always taken aback when I read these insane layoff stories from the states.

If we talk about Christmas I can say this year "oficially" Christmas started before even than Halloween. Don't blame me, it was Nicolas Maduro's idea.

I really worry about the future of Hasbro. I can understand old glory days ended a lot of time ago, because now less childen are born, and these would rather videogames, and Hasbro's strategy bets for videogames and multimedia franchises, but this is not so easy. And in the last years Disney's IPs have lost too much power brand.

It may be only speculation but Hasbro could merger o be acquired by other in the future and we can't know if it will be the right choice.
