D&D General D&D Lay Offs/Corporate Re-Organization

Hasbro corporate earnings report comes out tomorrow morning. I'm keeping an eye to see if any more layoffs are announced.

As a side note, Dixon really put in the work to keep the D&D community from imploding after the OGL stuff. Managing influencers is an important part of marketing/ads these days and Dixon was great at what he does. This is a shame and absolutely shortsighted, especially since a brand like D&D needs a competent influencer manager.

Yearly lay offs, during the holidays every year, seem less "normal" than a one time occurance. Not a good look for Hasbro.

If he is the only layoff, then it looks to me like it might be related to the NDA incidents in August. Sometimes taking action takes a while depending on legal hurdles, which might be why we're finding out now.

WotC seems to have an issue with institutional knowledge. It'll come back to bite them eventually.
