I likely will not use most of them, but I can see where they are helpful to some people and new players/DMs.
Looking at the magic item sheet here;
It seems that they are saying to give out legendary items in the level 11-16 range so PCs get two by the time they reach 17th level. I'm not sure how many legendary items I ever gave out, but could count them on one hand. I thought I give out a lot of items. Some of this might be that most of my campaigns stop in the 12-14 range though.
Edit: I see looking at the DMG free rules that this sheet is for the DM to track the total party items and not individual. Might be more on track with what I was giving out already now.
My only question is what are people expected to write using all the space for “Alignment” in the NPC Tracker?
“Chaotic Neutral with Good tendencies, extra cream and a slice of lemon, hold the fries?”
It seems a case of form over function, but I am not a designer, and I am sure that if I took a swing at it, I’d end up with some incredibly space-efficient but horrible-to-look-at tax form.
The NPC sheet would be better with a place for cut/paste stats from the MM. The page reference to the MM as shown is a waste of time for me to look up something or even to carry another book around.
