Announcing Oozes and Transfusions by Broken Synapse Press for a5e! ETA 2 weeks or less!

The book has new heritage options for oozefolk, 3 ooze-based bloodblade archetypes, a new type of item based on oozes called transfusions, a new ooze monster, and a handful of ooze themed magical items.

These are the descriptions of the 3 bloodblade archetypes in Oozes and Transfusions (I wasn't kidding and it wasn't a typo when I said I had 3 ooze based bloodblades coming out!!!):

Vasokinetic - Bloodblades who harness the unpredictability of the ever-mutable form and fluid movement of oozes.

Hemocaustix - Bloodblades that alchemically infuse themselves with oozes to turn their very blood into a chemical weapon.

Lysocytonic (pronounced: lie-so-sigh-tonic) - Those that treat an autoimmune disease with an alchemical cocktail of oozes, prolonging their life and turning their own immune system into a weapon.

No cultures at all, I'm afraid. No room. And I don't want to touch WotC stuff with a 10ft-pole and the scope creep on this beast was already very real.

That said there are a few surprises in here that I haven't announced...

Okay folks, possible slight change of plan. I woke up irritated with WotC (go figure ) and today's industry news did not help..

I think I am going to split this beast into two releases. I am reliant on the OGL for bloodblade archetypes (at least for the moment) so I will probably release the 3 ooze archetypes separately (under the OGL). The rest of the oozey goodness I will release under ORC in a separate supplement.

Benefit of that is I can probably get the archetypes out quick here and a smaller initial release means faster Foundry implementation!

By the way folks, I split this release up into two volumes. The first, Corrosive Souls, is the collection of 3 ooze themed bloodblades and two hit die related magic items and is now available (Corrosive Souls on DTRPG)!

The second volume, Oozes and Transfusions, is still being worked on and will be coming soon.
