D&D General Sandwiches should exist in your fantasy world!

Much of this - the parts detailing foods of non-European origin - really don't matter in a fantasy world, as you can move food origins around at will in your own game.

And that is fine too. I just expect a little craft and believability. Again it is just preference. This is just how I feel about the campaigns I am in or running (not other people doing things differently). So if you are going to have coffee for example, don't have it be a star bucks, have it be more like turkish style coffee (even if it is set in a time that predates widespread use of coffee). If you are going to have the hamburger be invented earlier, fair enough but don't just have it be a replica of McDonalds. Still the hamburger is a pretty jarring one whatever the explanation because it is so deeply associated with fast food for me.

The plot of Legends and Lattes is basically "retired D&D adventurer invents Starbucks." And it's pretty good!

It was a bit different but it was a variation on a hamburger which makes sense since you don't exactly need a recipe for a standard burger. The real question? Is a hot dog a sandwich?
No, a hot dog is a taco. See below:

The only question is what they are called.

It's multiple Choice:

  1. Bready Bites - Emphasizing the bread and the small size that fits perfectly in halfling hands.
  2. Hobbit Hoagies - A playful term that references their identity and their fondness for substantial, filling sandwiches.
  3. Snackin’ Stackers - Highlighting how halflings love to stack various ingredients for a flavorful bite-sized treat.
  4. Picnic Pockets - Suggesting that these sandwiches are perfect for enjoying during outdoor feasts and gatherings.
  5. Cozy Crusts - Evoking the warmth and comfort of a well-crafted sandwich, ideal for cozy meals at home.
:D
Call 'em sandwiches. Who cares if there's no Earl of Sandwich to name them?

Besides, how else can I get a little goblin surf and turf if there's no sandwiches? (Tuna salad and meatball sub)

I think the Calzone should be relabeled the Burrito.

I feel more comfortable saying that a Calzone is an Italian Burrito than that Burritos are Mexican Calzones.... but that would make Dumplings into Burritos... There's just no good option, here, I think.

Also... Toast. Should that just be "Pizza" or maybe even "Flatbread"? Not all flat surfaces with toppings are toasted, or toast, after all.
